Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Punna Travels, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent for all self-drive car rental bookings.

1. Cancellation by the Customer

a. Before Pickup Time

• More than 24 hours before scheduled pickup:
  ✅ Full refund of booking amount (excluding payment gateway charges, if any).
• No-show without cancellation notice:
  ❌ No refund will be issued.

2. Cancellation by Punna Travels

• In rare cases (vehicle breakdown, unavailability, or other unforeseen issues), we may cancel your booking.
  • ✅ A full refund will be processed.
  • ✅ We may also offer a free rescheduling or a similar vehicle, if available.

3. Early Return

• If the vehicle is returned earlier than the scheduled end time: ❌ No partial refunds will be provided for unused hours or days.

4. Refund of Security Deposit

• The refundable deposit will be returned within 3–5 working days after vehicle inspection.
• Deductions may apply for:
  • Fuel shortage
  • Damage or scratches
  • Late return
  • Traffic fines or tolls

5. Refund Process

• Refunds are processed through the original payment method.
• Time for the refund to reflect in your account may vary based on your bank or payment provider.
